Goldilocks Family Ride

In an effort to grow the cycling world in Utah, Karlberg Racing has created the GOLDILOCKS FAMILY RIDE, which includes people of all ages to complete a beautiful ride, again finding a distance and difficulty "just right" for you and your family!

The Goldilocks Family Ride is a fully-supported, non-competitive, crazy fun bike ride for the whole family. With 5-, 10- or 20-mile rides to choose from, there is a course that is 'just right' for everyone! 

Picture this: For our course, we use what we deem as one of the most beautiful parts of the Goldilocks Women's bike ride - Lincoln Beach to the backside of West Mountain along Utah Lake. All riders will complete an out-and-back ride from Lincoln Beach. 20-milers will travel 10 miles around the back of West Mountain to Genola and back. 10-milers will ride five miles out and back, and 5-milers will enjoy a sweet little 2.5 mile out-and-back ride along Utah Lake, seeing orchards to the south, and pelicans and hawks to the north on Utah Lake. 

With friends, volunteers at fully stocked aid stations, support riders (Mama & Papa Bears), Papa Bear Dispatch (a help-hotline) and roaming SAG vehicles, you’ll never be alone!  We’re here to cheer you on every mile.

Set a goal and train hard, knowing that Goldilocks will provide the expert support to get you across the finish line feeling like a champion! Goldilocks is a wonderful opportunity to spend the day with family and friends pushing your limit, encouraging kids they can do hard things, enjoying beautiful scenery, eating yummy snacks, and achieving your goals.

All participants receive a super-soft event t-shirt, snacks at miles 5, 10, 15, and the finish line, free event photos, fully-supported ride with mama and papa bears along the route to help change tires, or to give you a lift back if your bike is unfixable. We'll also have tons of swag to raffle off! Participants must provide their own tubes for this ride.

The 5-, and 10-mile routes are flat and fast.  The 20’s will have a little climb near the turnaround before heading back to the start:
STRAVA 20 mile route – 7:00 AM start
STRAVA 10-mile route - 7:10 AM start
STRAVA 5-mile route - 7:20 AM start
