Packets can also be picked up the day of the race beginning at 7:30 AM

Virtual Racers DO NOT need to come to packet pickup. Your medals and swag will be delivered to you after the race.

On the evening of Thursday July 30th, Sarah and three of her friends were driving back from Bear Lake and were involved in a head-on collision with a drunk driver.  All were wearing seat belts. All suffered different injuries. Sarah had to be life-flighted to Primary Children’s Hospital where she lost 30% of her intestines, was confirmed paralyzed from the waist down, and had to have both legs amputated at mid thigh. Sarah has an incredibly difficult road ahead but we know she has the heart and the grit to turn this tragedy into something beautiful and inspiring. 

This 5K is being put on to raise funds to help cover Sarah's medical bills. Because of Covid-19 there are restrictions on the number of participants we can have in this race. All racers agree to not show up at the race if they are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19. Contact information for all participants will be collected in the event that contact tracing is necessary. Depending on the status of Utah at the time of the race we could incorporate starting waves, to facilitate smaller groups.

All racers will receive a finishers medal! Top 3 overall finishers and top finisher in each age group will receive a T-Shirt!

*****Virtual Race*****

You asked and we listened. A virtual race has been added for those that cannot attend the race on Oct. 24th. All virtual racers can submit results via text, email or app on the day of the race. Results of the virtual race will be displayed as a separate race. T-shirts will be awarded to the top male and top female virtual racers. All virtual racers will also receive a medal that can either be mailed or picked up prior to the race.

During the race you can use the app RaceJoy and people can track you during the race. They can also send cheers to your phone. See the section on RaceJoy below for details. RaceJoy app can also be used to enter Virtual 5k times!
