Don’t miss this inaugural spring marathon down Provo Canyon to Utah City. And the 1,400-foot elevation drop is just under the new Boston Marathon elevation standards.
The Runtastic UTAH CITY Marathon is one of the few Utah races to earn your BQ with NO TIME PENALTIES!
Marathon Relay
Take on the full 26.2-mile marathon course — relay style!
Grab your colleagues, friends, or family members and register a team of 2–4 runners. Work together to conquer 26.2 miles as you run through scenic Provo Canyon and onto the beautiful Provo River Trail. Each runner completes one (or more) legs, combining strength, strategy, and speed to cross the finish line as a team.

Please note: Relay teams are responsible for coordinating their own transportation to exchange points.

Packet pickup will be held May 7, 2027 from 11-7pm. The location will be determined soon.
Yes! Someone else can pick up your packet. It would be best to have a picture of it. Relay teams can send only 1 person to pick up relay instructions.
Sure, but just make sure the volume is low enough so that you can hear what is going on around you.
Yes, we will have a bag drop for those who are in the Marathon and Half Marathon. Relay teams will want to use their own vehicle for gear. We will not be going to the exchange zones to pick up any dropped clothing.
No, we cannot allow dogs on the course.
