Emory & Henry DPT 5K/10K Fundraiser (Draft)

This fundraiser race is hosted by the Emory & Henry Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Hungry Mother State Park on the Lake Loop Trail in Marion, Virginia. The course is a true trail, rocky, and moderately difficult, out-and-back route with beautiful views of the lake.

The race registration fee includes the required $7 park parking fee. Participants must follow all Hungry Mother State Park policies; park rules can be found on the official park website at https://www.dcr.virginia.gov/state-parks/hungry-mother. Race registration also includes a bib and chip timing; participants registered by May 16 are guaranteed a race t-shirt.

Hungry Mother State Park offers camper and cabin sites and other amenities for those traveling from out of town.

All proceeds from the race will be donated to Project Crossroads, supporting local programs in Southwestern Virginia.
