🦃 The 17th Annual MVHS Cares Gobblepalooza Turkey Trot & Wellness Walk
The 17th Annual MVHS Cares Gobblepalooza Turkey Trot and Wellness Walk returns with both a 5K and a new 10K option!
Join us on Saturday, November 22, 2025 — the weekend before Thanksgiving — for this in-person*, rain-or-shine community race.
Our VDoT-approved course winds through the MVHS campus and nearby neighborhoods. 10K participants will start 15 minutes before the 5K and complete three loops of the adjusted route through the main gate.
📦 Pre-Race Packet Pick-Up:
Friday, November 21st, from 3:00–7:00 PM inside MVHS Entrance 4.
🎶 Event Highlights:
Gobblepalooza is all about wellness, service, and music — bringing our entire community together for a fun, family-friendly morning!
Race Day Registrations cost $35 for the 5k and $45 for the 10k. Please register ahead of time and get a discount.
💲 Special Discount:
FCPS students or faculty members, [NEW!] Federal employees and military families receive an additional $5 discount at checkout. Please confirm your discount at packet pick up with your related ID.

*Turkey Trot shirts can only be picked up at MVHS. The school cannot ship the shirts to virtual participants, at this time.

- Go passed the 1-Mile & 4-Mile Sign.
- Follow Rt. 235 to Police and Turn Around sign.
- Turn Right onto Cunningham Drive
- Turn Left onto Wessynton Way
- Pass 2-Mile & 5-Mile sign
- Pass the Water Station
- Turn Right onto Rt. 235
- Pass 3-Mile & 6-Mile Sign
- Turn Left to back to MVHS
- Finish or Lap through the Starting/Finish Line
