Whether you ran, walked, or practiced yoga, the 6th Annual PeDRA Dash for Discovery brought our community together to support PeDRA’s mission while staying healthy and having fun!
Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's hybrid event, which took place October 10–17, 2026. Every step helped raise awareness and support research that transforms the lives of children with skin disease.
👟 In-person and Virtual Race Info
Participants ran, walked, or flowed wherever they were throughout the week, with in-person activities taking place on Saturday, October 17, alongside the 2026 PeDRA Annual Conference in Alexandria, VA. From hitting the pavement to enjoying yoga with friends and colleagues, the Dash offered meaningful ways to connect, get moving, and support pediatric dermatology research.
💲Fundraising Options
This year, participants had the opportunity to select a fundraising team and direct their support toward a specific area of childhood skin disease research.
PeDRA's Focused Study Group (FSGs) are collaborative teams of clinician-scientists who work together to generate new research ideas, deepen understanding of childhood skin diseases, and improve outcomes for patients and their families. By supporting an FSG, Dash participants helped advance research and accelerate discoveries in areas that matter most to them.
Thank you to everyone who selected a team, raised funds, and supported PeDRA's mission. Every contribution helps move pediatric dermatology research forward!
👕 Dash T-Shirts
The first 100 eligible registrants received a special Dash for Discovery race T-shirt! In-person participants received their shirts at conference check-in, while eligible virtual participants in North America received theirs by mail.
Thank you again to everyone who participated, supported a fundraising team, or helped spread the word. Together, we're making strides toward a brighter future for children with skin disease! 💛
