Description
As a participant, you choose any date, time, and place between August 1 and August 31 to complete your 5K, which is 3.1 miles. You can complete it in one or several days - the goal is to have fun and finish. There is no set course. You can walk/run with your dog while pushing a stroller or using a treadmill or elliptical. You can also complete your walk/run alone or with family/friends. It’s all up to you!
This year, we are getting bigger and better than ever before. We will have a live 5k event on October 19th. The place and time will be announced soon.
A Few Good MENtors, Inc. (AFGM) is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides one-on-one mentoring to males between the ages of 8 and 21. Volunteers are the organization's heart and soul. Your support and participation in this event will help the organization continue to meet the needs of male youth and young adults in the community and expand to surrounding areas.
