Friends of Montessori Education 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run is an opportunity for community members of all ages to learn more about Montessori and the mission of Friends of Montessori Education (FOME) by doing something FUN - running!
Friends of Montessori Education (FOME) is a 501 c3 non-profit, (EIN 20-8215240), whose mission is to raise money for children of lower socio-economic backgrounds so they may attend a Montessori school. Our goal is to support children from Montessori Primary level through Montessori High School all over the United States.
Location and Time
Marymont University Ballston Location - 1000 N. Glebe Rd, Arlington, VA 22201.
Sunday May 5, 2013 - 5K Start - 9:00am, Kids Run - 9:05am
Early Packet Pickup - Saturday May 4, 2013 at Potomac River Running in Arlington from 10am to 4pm.
Race Day Pickup and Race Day Registration - Sunday May 5 starting at 8:00am.
Cost
5K run Early Registration (through April 5) - $30.00, after April 5th $35.00.
Kids 1Mile Fun Run - (through April 5) - $15.00, after April 5th $20.00.
Race Day Registration available on-site
T-shirts only guaranteed if registered by April 5th
Course
5K slight rolling course out and back, heading west on the Custis Trail. Starting and Finishing in the Marymount Ballston Parking lot.
