What's better than enjoying a donut after a race? Enjoying multiple donuts DURING a race!
Grab three of your closest, craziest friends and come out to Old Ox Brewery In Ashburn, VA on Saturday, March 24th for the Second Annual Donut Relay! We had so much fun last year, we had to come back and make it bigger and better! The amazing Fracture Prune Doughnuts are supplying the delicious pastry goodies for this years event!
Teams of 4 people come together to eat and run. Each team must consume a dozen donuts between them. Any way you cut it. Each person has to eat at least one donut - outside of that, anything goes! One person eats nine and the other three eat one apiece - totally fine! The first three eat one apiece and stiff the fourth runner to eat nine?? All is fair in run and donut.
Each person eats their share of donuts, runs two miles and heads back to Donut Eating Exchange Zone. As soon as you hit the exchange zone - your next teammate can start slamming donuts.
Each participant will get a free beer, a rally towel to cheer their team on and wipe those donuts crumbs off their face, and of course, Fractured Prune Doughnuts!
THE AFTER PARTY! What's a good race without a great after party? As the relay finishes the party continues--relax, drink beers and let your digest donuts in the Old Ox parking lot. Enjoy...

START - We will start this event in waves with the teams expected to take longer starting earlier. We will start the first wave at 11:00 am and expect every team to be finished by 1:00 pm. Awards will be around 1:30 pm.
Registration - A team captain must create a team-name and pay the entry fee up front. They can either add each team-member or ask their teammates to enter themselves individually. You do not have to enter all your team-members when you register, you can go back and do so - but each team must have four-people to participate and their information must be entered before race-day. If you have your teammates enter their own information - BE SURE THEY KNOW YOUR EXACT TEAM NAME. We had several common names last year and this can get confusing.
PACKET-PICK-UP - On race day from 10am-11:30am. We will assign waves to each team. Earlier waves must pick up their packet earlier, but later waves can come later. The final wave will start around noon. Detailed instructions will be emailed.
