Berryville Turkey Trot

WHEN: Saturday, November 17, 2018, starting at 10:00 am. Registration is from 8:15 to 9:45.  This is the 40th edition for this race, the oldest race in the area!

WHERE: Registration is in  Clarke County High School cafeteria, 627 Mosby Blvd. Berryville, VA
The  high school can be accessed off Business Route 7 West by turning on to Mosby
via the round-about or at the end of Mosby Blvd. off Route 340/N. Buckmarsh Street

The race is run on the Clarke County Parks and Recreation Fitness Trail,
beginning in front of Cooley Elementary on Business Route 7, 1 mile west of Berryville, VA.

The race is for all interested runners, joggers, and walkers.

You have an option of distances: 2 miles (one park loop), 4 miles (2 loops) or 6 miles.

If you register for a race distance and wish to change to another race on race day, PLEASE SEE ME SO WE CAN GET YOU PROPERLY ENTERED!!!

NOTE: Chip timing by Shenandoah Valley Runners. The 4-mile and 6-mile races will begin at 10:00 am.  The 2-mile will begin 5 minutes later.

WHAT: Choice of races: 2 miles (1 lap), 4 miles (2 laps), or 6 miles (3 laps).

Overall trophies to the top three finishers (male/female) in each of the three races.
Everyone else will get an official age group Berryville Turkey Trot ribbon in five-year age groups.
Masters winners in each race will get medals (40 and over).  Grand masters winners (60 and over) will also receive medals.

FROZEN TURKEYS WILL BE GIVEN AWAY IN RANDOM DRAWINGS FOLLOWING THE RACES - ONE FOR EVERY TEN RUNNERS.
ADDITIONAL RANDOM PRIZES FROM LOCAL MERCHANTS ARE ALSO FEATURED.

PLEASE: Due to our insurance coverage no dogs, strollers, baby joggers, or head phones!!!!

ENTRY FEES:: 
$13.00 - Pre-registration until November 16th; $10.00 - SVR member pre-registration;
$10.00 - Student pre-registration AND Student Race Day registration
$15.00 - Race Day registration for all except students

Turkey Trot T-Shirts may be pre-ordered for $8 each.  T-shirts as supply lasts on race day.  Sizes:  YL, S, M, L, XL.
