The Warm Hearth Foundation and LewisGale Hospital Montgomery present the 2018 Parrot Strut 5K Trail Run/Walk. 100% of the proceeds from the race benefit the Warm Hearth Foundation's Neighbors in Need fund, which benefits low-income seniors living on Warm Hearth's campus who need assistance with housing and healthcare.

The 2018 Parrot Strut will take place Saturday, October 13th on the Warm Hearth Village campus. The 5K will begin at 9:00AM and the 1-mile run/walk will begin at 9:45AM. Refreshments courtesy of LewisGale Hospital Montgomery will be available following the race. Dogs are welcome on leashes, and owners are responsible for associated clean-up. Registration is open through 8:45AM the morning of the race, but the deadline to guarantee your free race tee shirt is September 26, 2018. Race packets will be available for pickup at the Warm Hearth Village Center, 2387 Warm Hearth Drive, Blacksburg, Friday, October 12 from 12-6pm and starting at 8am on race day. The top three overall male and female winners of the 5K will receive medals.
