100 Mile Challenge!
Achieve your fitness goals in 2025! Can you total 100 miles or more in the month of January? Everyone who logs 100+ miles of running or walking activities between January 1 and January 31 will receive a long-sleeve shirt commemorating their achievement!
Submit your mileage daily, weekly, or at the end of the month. We want you to do what works best to motivate you to run or walk 100 miles this month!
Mileage from your step tracker as part of your daily routine does not count! These miles should be supplemental activities to your daily routine! Also, this is on the honor system so PLEASE BE HONEST.
Shirts must be picked up at RunAbout Sports in Blacksburg. We cannot mail shirts to participants. Participants who completed the 100 mile challenge will be notified to pick up their shirt a few weeks after the challenge ends.
How do I submit mileage?
There are multiple ways to submit mileage for the challenge! If you were logged into your RunSignup account when you signed in, follow the first set of instructions. If you did not use an account at the time of registration, follow the second set of instructions.

Submit mileage via your RunSignup account:
- Sign up for the 100 Mile Challenge while signed into your RunSignup account
- Navigate to your RunSignup Profile
- Under "Upcoming Events" find the "RunAbout Sports January 100 Mile Challenge 2025". Click the button to "Submit Virtual Results" for that race.
- Enter the date completed (if submitting for multiple days, enter the most recent day in this field and make a note in the comments about which days you are submitting for), distance in miles, and optionally your time. You can submit multiple activities at once if you would like to log individual days
- Click "Submit Activity". Your updated mileage will appear on the Mileage Leaderboard
Submit mileage via the results page:
- Sign up for the 100 Mile Challenge
- Navigate to Mileage Leaderboard. At the top of the page click the button to "Submit Virtual Results"
- Search for yourself on the participant lookup page. Once you have found yourself, click the "Log Activities" button on the row with your name.
- You will be required to verify your identity by entering your email or the last 4 digits of your phone number. This is required to make sure nobody enters results on your behalf.
- Enter the date completed (if submitting for multiple days, enter the most recent day in this field and make a note in the comments about which days you are submitting for), distance in miles, and optionally your time. You can submit multiple activities at once if you would like to log individual days
- Click "Submit Activity". Your updated mileage will appear on the Mileage Leaderboard
