2026 Race Cancellation
We are sorry to announce that the Forever 5 & 10 Miler have been cancelled due to weather. We’re honestly amazed (and grateful) that it took 18 years and 160 races for Mother Nature to finally catch us. After getting out to assess conditions yesterday, it became clear that the entire area is essentially an ice rink, and safety has to come first.
All registered runners will be moved to the virtual option, and we’ll be sending follow-up emails shortly with details on how to proceed. This allows you to keep the Forever event as one of your 5 series qualifying races.
We truly hoped a Plan B would come together, but everyone is fighting their own battle with this snow and ice.
That said, we will still hold our normal packet pickup times so you can grab your selected item:

Description
This race uses part of the Hellgate 100k course (miles 55-60) and is known as the Forever Section. It's a tough rocky backcountry section of the Glenwood Horse Trail that goes between Day Creek Day Use Area to Bobblets Gap Road. Both courses will be out and back. The 5 miler will have a volunteer or timing point at the halfway point and the 10 miler will have a timing point at Bobblets Gap Road to verify that you made it all the way to the turnaround.
