Connecting Communities 5K

Connect with your community and colleagues at the first ever "Connecting Communities" Employee 5K on Saturday, November 16th at 8:30am at Sutherland/Hollymead! Powered by the Public Education Foundation of Charlottesville-Albemarle (PEFCA), walkers and runners will enjoy a great morning winding through the Forest Lakes neighborhood! This year's event is open to employees ONLY. Sorry, four legged furry friends are not allowed this year. 

Registration is FREE and EXCLUSIVE for all City of Charlottesville and Albemarle County school and government employees.This event is meant to bring all employees together--whether this is your first or one-hundred and first run/walk event!

Again, this year's event is open to City and County employees ONLY, but families and friends are encouraged to participate in our fan cheering sections! After the race, enjoy music and snacks while we award top finishers and most spirited participants! Donations benefit PEFCA. 

Race day registration will be available from 7:30-8am. Those who register by October 15 are guaranteed an event shirt upon check-in on race day. For those who register on race day, shirts are not guaranteed.
