Description
Run 4 Their Lives is a Freedom 4/24 event that raises awareness and funds to bring sexually exploited women and children into freedom.
Freedom 4/24 is partnering with a local organization, the Arbor, for this event: The Arbor (http://arborcville.org) is a nonprofit organization that provides long-term housing and holistic aftercare services to adult, female, human trafficking survivors in Virginia, so that they may establish a community of healing and reclaim wholeness, freedom, and life.
Race Details
RACE LOCATION: The race will start and end at the Darden Towe shelter. The course consists of cross country meadow, paved and gravel trails, bridges, dirt paths, and hills. The trails will also be muddy in places due to all the recent rain. Please do not bring strollers or dogs for safety reasons as part of the course is narrow and more difficult to maneuver and single file passing will be necessary.
EVENT TIME: The Kid's Fun Run will begin at 8:30am and the 8k walk/run will begin at 9:00am. **Please arrive by 8:00 am at the latest on race day.
PACKET PICK UP: Packet Pick Up on race day only. Race day registration will be available.
COST: If you choose not to fundraise, the race registration fee is $24 through April 22; $34 after April 23 until race day. Online registration closes on May 5 at 11:59pm.
