About the Race

Splash 5K began in 2009 as Splash for a Cure-- an evening pool party held on or near Ishan's birthday. The event is now a family friendly 5K walk/run and ceremony to honor and celebrate families fighting children's cancer. Runners and spectators can enjoy crafts and games before and after the race.

Ishan Gala Foundation's mission is to be present in the lives of children fighting cancer and their families to improve quality of life during and after treatment. IGF provides financial assistance, comfort packages, birthday surprises, holiday help, and everything in between. IGF not only supports the child fighting and the parents but siblings too. We believe that while the child is diagnosed, the whole family fights together.
