·         PRE-RACE- Listen to pre-race instructions. This is important information about the course and will help keep you safe. Make sure your race bib is visible; please pin it at both the bottom and top. If you are running, please move to the front of the start line. If you are walking, jogging or pushing a stroller, please move near the back of the start line.

·         ON THE COURSE- If you wish to pass someone, please pass on the left. If you are jogging or walking in a group, please do not huddle in a broad line which will not allow others to pass you.

If you need to stop on the course for any reason including to tie your shoe, please move to the right of the course to avoid collision.

Follow the course and do not cut through or attempt to cheat. Be fair and honest. Stay alert (loose dogs, stopped runners, potholes, cars). Non-registered friends or relatives are not permitted to run with you. Only children under 4 years old may participate without registration but must be with a registered participant (parent/guardian). Friends and relatives may attend and cheer you on form the side of the course or at the sides of the finish line. This race course is being held in a neighborhood and on school grounds. Please be considerate and do not cut through lawns or leave litter.

·         AT THE FINISH LINE- Do not stop suddenly at the finish line; keep moving past the clock and through the chute. Only one person may enter the chute at a time. Once you’ve entered through the end of the chute, please remove your tear tag and hand it to the volunteer. Please clear the chute immediately to allow other runners to move through.
