Beach to Beer 5K & 10K

Good Day for a Run Returns to Colonial Beach, VA for their 7th Annual COLONIAL BEACH TO BEER 10K/5K Races and 1 Mile Walk. 

This Race Proudly Supports BAMM. 

RACES FEATURE:

• Scenic 5K and 10K Race along the Potomac of Colonial Beach.

• Chip-timing, Live-streamed Results, and Awards

• 5K and 10K Awards are for top 3 Overall and Top 3 per age group (Under14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, etc)

• The Course is Flat and Fast! 10K Starts at 9 AM. 5K Starts at 9:05 AM.

• 5K Walkers and all ages welcome to participate, need to be registered, and start on time behind runners at 9:05 AM.

• 1 Mile Walk option available for all ages and starts at 9:08 AM. (Non-timed) **Please register by Oct. 6 to guarantee your first choice and Oct. 12 to guarantee receiving a shirt for 1 Milers.

RACES INCLUDE:

• Drink Ticket for either a Colonial Beach Brewing Craft Beer or Root Beer soda, or IceHouse Brewery beer is included with your entry

• A high-quality short sleeve shirt included or upgrade to Long Sleeve for $6 extra. Women's cut, Adult/Men's, and Youth options. *Please register by Oct. 6 to guarantee your first choice. Extras ordered and available on first-come first served basis. 

• ALL Participants receive a Beach to Beer custom Beer Glass.

• Water Stations on Course and at Finish Line

• Complimentary Snack at Finish Chute

• Free Parking

• Free Downloadable Photos

AFTER-PARTY FUN:

• Live music by Spike Burton Music performing until Noon

• 21+ Enjoy cold Craft Beer at the Beer Garden - presented by Colonial Beach Brewing. (1 drink included for participants and volunteers, more beer available for purchase for spectators) Root beer available for < 21 participants.

• Denson's food truck providing Chesapeake Bay Farm to Table fresh seafood and local fare for purchase on-site.

• Various lawn games for the entire family or for you and your friends

• Please bring your own beach chairs or blankets to hang out after!

• Strollers are permitted. 

• Race is rain or shine. No refunds or deferrals.

• Packet pick-up on race day from 7:30-8:30 AM at "Good Day for a Run" tent at Town Hill. Second PPU date TBD will be posted and emailed.
