Glow Run 5K

Ready-Set-GLOW! Please join PATH Recreation & Fitness Center in our birthday celebration - 2 YEARS! Our celebration includes a 5K run/walk on a paved outdoor course, a Kids' 1-mile Dash outdoors for the littles, and an indoor Walk 5K class. This celebration is for the entire family! We'll have glow goodies to share, but feel free to bring your own glow accessories, too! After the run, please join us for an after-party with snacks and additional festivities inside the recreation center. Open to the public!

More on Indoor Walk 5K: Walk 5K in the rec center is a high-energy, low-impact experience for all fitness levels to enjoy at their own pace, along with fun and energizing music. It's a fitness dance party with line dancing and full body exercise! Guided by fitness instructor Karen Irvin, you’ll get your 5K (3.1 miles) of steps in before you know it!

Start times: Kids' 1-mile Dash, 6 pm; 5K Run/Walk, 6:30 pm; Indoor Walk 5K, 6:30 pm

Registration is required for the outdoor 5K, Kids' 1-mile Dash and Indoor Walk 5K. Register early to guarantee your race shirt!

RULES, REGS & OTHER THINGS TO KNOW
Day of race packet pick up at PRFC begins at 9 am on the 29th.

Registration fees are non-transferable & non-refundable. An entry can only be used for the person registered for that entry. Entries cannot be deferred to the following year or a future event. If the event is cancelled due to weather, credits and gift cards for the value of registration will be issued.

Course: The 5K course is a horseshoe loop on Crossroad Parkway and Industrial Road. 3 full laps = 5K.

Hydration: There will be a water station at the cul-de-sac on Crossroad Parkway.

Parking: Parking in the PRFC lot on Crossroad Parkway is available for anyone arriving prior to 5:30 pm and leaving after the course is clear of participants. Parking in the DMV lot on Crossroad Parkway is available after 5:00 pm and before 5:30 pm. To ensure the safety of race participants, there will be no entry or exit from these lots from 5:30 pm until all runners are off the course.
 
After 5:00 pm, parking is also available at the Cannon Crossing office complex at the corner of Lovers Lane and Crossroad Parkway. Vehicle entry/exit to this site from Lovers Lane will be accessible during the event.
 
There will be parking attendants to help guide you.

Timing: Love Timing Company

Refreshments: A variety of refreshments will be available after the race inside PATH Recreation & Fitness Center.

Shirts: Adult and youth sizes will be available. Race shirts are guaranteed for registrations made by March 10. Additional shirts may be available on a first come, first served basis. Thank you to our race shirt provider, Culpeper's Kash Imprints!

Strollers: For everyone’s safety, we ask that all participants with strollers line up at the back of the race group.

Pets: NO pets are allowed.

No bikes, scooters, skateboards, hoverboards or other types of recreational transportation are allowed.
