5k with 5-0 (9/11 Themed)

We will host the 4th Annual 5k with 5-0 on Saturday, September 7th, 2024 at 8:00am. The race is to promote healthy living while also connecting and building positive relationships with your local Danville Police Department officers and staff through walking/running. This year the race will be 9/11 themed! This means, all medals, t-shirts, etc. will follow the theme along with the Danville Fire Dept. and other first responders present for the event. We will hold a moment of silence in remembrance of all that lost their lives during this time in history. 

The race is in partnership with The Brick running store. The 5k will be comprised of flat and hilly surfaces making it a perfect combination of challenging and rewarding. This year, the race will start and finish at our new police department located at One Community Way, Danville VA directly off Memorial Drive. 

The $25 charge includes a t-shirt, police swag bag, snacks, drinks and your bib.

Registration will remain open until September 7th, 2023 but MUST REGISTER by August 19th, 2023 to receive a t-shirt. We also have on-site registration day of event.
