Description
39th Annual River City 5K Run/Walk. Flat and fast, combination of street & paved park trail. Special pricing for 19 and under ($10). This years race begins at 215 Main St., Danville, VA 24541. This is an out and back course starting and finishing on MLK Bridge. The flat course will run along the beautiful Riverwalk Trail by the Dan River. THIS IS A CHIP TIMED RACE. ALL AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN BASED ON GUN TIMES. Timing will be conducted by Blue Ridge Timing, Lynchburg, Virginia. Register by September 27 to guarantee your shirt & size. Some additional shirts will ordered. There is no day-of-race registration.
In Conjuction with the Danville Half Marathon, Presented by URW Community Federal Credit Union
This year we will also be hosting the Danville Half Marathon, Presented by URW Community Federal Credit Union on the same day as the River City 5k. For further information or to register click on the event URL above.
