Wobble and Gobble

The Junior Wednesday Club's Wobble and Gobble is the perfect mix of fun and fitness! Join us on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 9:00AM in Angler's Park for a 3.1 mile run/walk on the gorgeous Riverwalk Trail!  Our course is designed with all skill levels in mind - and it's ideal for first-timers and veteran runners alike. The Wobble and Gobble is a professionally timed event (you'll receive a race bib and chip timing device at packet pickup), but don't let that deter you from coming dressed in your favorite Thanksgiving-themed running gear!

As an "appetizer" before the main event we invite kiddos ages 12 and under, and those with disabilities, to participate in our Kids' Wobble Fun Run which will kick off at 9AM. They'll be energized by the roar of the crowd and feel the freedom of wind in their face as they run a single lap around the paved running track. Kids Dash participants will finish prior to the start of the Wobble and Gobble run/walk.

We are excited to be partnering with The Danville Science Center children's exhibits as our benefactor for this race. All proceeds will be used for the renovation and maintenance of the Science Center's permanent exhibits.

Onsite registration will be offered beginning at 8:00 AM on race morning but we cannot guarantee t-shirt sizing for those who register on race morning.

Friday November 10th from 5-6 PM at Anglers Park in Danville or 8:00 AM Saturday November 11th.
