Dear Racer,
TriAdventure is sorry to report the 2020 Claytor Lake Triathlon has been canceled.
Providing for the health and safety of our athletes, volunteers, and community is TriAdventure's top priority. After assessing many event scenarios, examining USAT requirements, and speaking with local safety and health department officials we decided it was in the best interest of our athletes and the community to cancel the 2020 event. We are grateful to all of our athletes, volunteers, and sponsors for their patience and continued support as we worked to make this difficult decision.
We remain optimistic the remainder of our races this season (Lake Ridge Endurance Run, High Bridge Ultra, and Old Glory Trail Runs) will go as scheduled, but continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation cautiously.
With the Claytor Lake Sprint Triathlon canceled due to the Corona Virus we are offering the following choices:
1. Defer to Claytor Lake race in 2021: You will be contacted at a later date to re-register for free.
2. Donate Your Entry: Do nothing. We will mail you a receipt noting your tax-deductible donation to Fitness In Action, and you get to know that you are helping keep a small race going into the future.
3. Refund: Needs to be requested by September 1st.
Take care of yourself and each other and thank you for supporting TriAdventure.
