Race will take place on Sunday, September 22, 2019, on a USATF certified course around picturesque Burke Lake Park in Fairfax Station, VA., located outside of Washington, DC.   All proceeds benefit the WIFLE Scholarship Fund. Course is on a mix of wooded trails with crushed stone and paved paths circling beautiful Burke Lake and Lake Mercer.  Whether it is the views of the crystal blue lake or the serenity of tree lined trails, this race is truly inspiring.  There will be five aid stations serving both water and sports drink every 2-3 miles. Awards will be provided to the top three male and female half marathon finishers. Race will have both male and female cut technical t-shirts, finisher medals and a post race celebration.
