Fodderstack 10K

WHERE:
In beautiful Rappahannock County, Virginia, the Fodderstack10k is a point-to-point race that begins at the north end of Flint Hill on Route 522 at the Packing Shed and ends at the court house in Washington, VA, via the Fodderstack Road. Click here for directions.

 
PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION:

Ample parking is available at the Flint Hill Fire Department (registration area) as well as in Washington. As in previous years, we will have bus service from Washington to registration at the Flint Hill Fire Department prior to the run.  There will be approximately 3-4 trips beginning around 7:20. If you are using this resource, please arrive early and do not wait until the last minute as the later buses fill up quickly.  If you are in Washington at 8:30, please drive to registration so you don't miss the start!

A bus is available to take runners back to Flint Hill after the awards ceremony at 11:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

 
CATEGORIES:
First three overall male and female, non-repeating

1st, 2nd, and 3rd 14 and under male and female, then 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, etc.

Eva Smith Memorial Award for the first male and female Rappahannock finisher

Ike & Quita Parish Family Award

Mervyn Jeffries Memorial Award for oldest finisher

 
REGISTRATION AND FEES:
Race Day Registration:
Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Dept., Rt. 641 on Fodderstack Rd. in Flint Hill. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. There is a 1/2 mile walk/jog from the registration area to the start of the race.
Please allow enough time to register and meet the 9:00am starting gun.

Pre-registration:
Register now to avoid the fee increase to $35.00 on March 1st!
On April 1, the fee increases to $40.00.  If you wait until race day, the fee will be $50.00.

$30 - through February 28, 2025
$35 - March 1 to March 31, 2025
$40 - April 1 until cut-off of online registration a few days before race day
$50 - Race day (cash or check only)

Pre-registering Youth 17&U are FREE!

*The discount for youth 17 years old and under is made possible by generous donations from Rappahannock County Park Foundation (RCPF) and others.  

Family Rate:
When you register 3 or more family members in a single transaction online, save $5 per runner.

AVAILABLE AGAIN THIS YEAR:
Groups or organizations with teams of 10 or more participants please contact us prior to registering to receive a $5 discount per runner.  We will provide you with a custom discount code for your team members to use when completing online registration.  Discount is not available retroactively.  Only applicable for pre-registrants (not available on race day).

 
AWARDS:
All award winners receive trophies painted by noted artist Merrill Strange.
