Come support Brookville Bees as we challenge the Jefferson Forest Cavaliers to see who has the best band spirit in the region! Help show the Brookville community is second to none!
The Brookville High School and Middle School band program is growing and achieving many accolades. The band program provides musicianship, builds dedication, discipline, teamwork, responsibility, time management, creativity and perseverance. This program has been providing students with these experiences over the years since Mr. Kelly Shoemaker. The Brookville Band Boosters invites everyone to support music for the long run.
We are currently raising money for new instruments, some over 40 years old. The potential replacement of our drumline will be over $20,000. Our marching sousaphones will also need replacing, costing $6000 each. The band truck that has faithfully served us over several decades also needs replacing.
This is a combination live run/walk with a virtual for those who are unable to attend. We would love to see everyone out on the Jefferson Forest High School track on Saturday April 13, 2024. Registration opens at 8 am. Runners start at 8:45 am and walkers start at 10 am. If you are unable to physically attend, please find a fun place to walk or run on your own in support of our band students.
For those who can be there in person, you will be running or walking on the JF track while being serenaded by various student band ensembles. We will also be competing against Jefferson Forest High School to see which school can bring the most participants. Let's not let our Brookville students down! Can we count on you to support your local music education?

Please Run on Behalf of a Band or Guard Student
*Students are competing with each other to get the most participants running under their name. There will be cash prizes given to those who get the most runners under their name. Your registration includes a page that asks for the name of the band student you are supporting. Please fill in the name of the student you wish to receive credit for getting you registered for the run. If you would like to run under several different band/guard students, you will have to split up your registrations. For example: if there are 2 siblings in band and their grandparents want each student to get credit, they will need to split their registrations and register separately so each sibling can receive credit for one runner. We understand this may cause a little conflict but remember what the end goal is. We want to raise money for the band so all students will benefit. Everyone gets a chance to promote this race and have people run under their name so they can win the cash prize.
