Mead Mile

MEAD MILE DESCRIPTION: The Mead Mile will be a flat paved ¼ mile loop on Front Royal’s historic Main Street. Each lap of the Mead Mile will begin with the consumption of 8 oz pour of our 7% abv mead. Mead provided by Honey & Hops Brew Works and included in the price of admission. A total of 4 laps and 4 servings of 8 oz of mead will be consumed before crossing the finish line. Limited entries are available so don’t delay!

 

MEAD MILE RACE LIMIT: 200 participants

 

MEAD MILE COURSE: The Mead Mile will consist of four 1/4 mile laps on Front Royal’s historic Main Street. The course is flat and fast!

 

MEAD MILE AWARDS:
Top 3 Male and Top Female Only (no age groups)

Awards are an inaugural mead mile insulated tumbler and hat

 

MEAD MILE EVENT RULES: Must be 21 to participate in Mead Mile. Please have your ID ready when checking in for the Mead Mile . NO ID = NO RACE, NO MEAD. Designated Drivers are Required for participants. Upon check-in, we will be verifying your designated driver is available to pick you up after the event. Volunteers will be placed in key areas to help direct race traffic. Cutting the course or interfering with other athletes will result in disqualification.
