Description
The "Toughest 5K on the Peninsula"! A 3.1 mile “twilight” run through groomed, wooded trails and open fields located in Gloucester County, VA. The runners will enjoy the “change of pace” from road running to the beautiful scenery of wooded trails, a natural lake with a man-made dam and 40 acres of open fields. This event will be accompanied by live music entertainment, local business vendor boothes, and local NASCAR race cars on site. Team discount available. **There is also an optional post race dinner option (please check the Store for more information).
Race and Concert Event
This unique event is not just a 5k race! Before, during and after the race, there will be food/beverage/beer vendors, local business vendors with samples and demonstrations, NASCAR K&N/ NASCAR Whelen Late Model & Modified/INEX Legends cars on display, live music provided by the Academy of Rock Music, enter a raffle to win tickets to Langley Speedway for the following week's NASCAR K&N Pro Series East race and more! Bring the family, come with a group of friends, make a date night, come solo and meet new friends, whichever you prefer, this will be a Friday night worth marking your calendar! All registered runners get free admission! General admission $5 (kids 10 and under free)
Race Details
All runners 10 years of age younger must be accompanied by an adult. No strollers/baby joggers or pets allowed on course. Race will be run in case of rain. Race may be delayed/cancelled in case of lighning. No rain date. No refunds. Walkers are welcome, however, no official timing/scoring.

Proceeds

Post Race Event
When the race is over....it is time to relax and have fun! The post race event will have live music, food/beverage vendors, local businesses with samples and demonstrations. Talk with local drivers from NASCAR K&N, Late Model, Modifieds and Legends divisions. Race cars will be on display.
Live Music
No need to leave when you are done running! The fun has just begun! Live music provided by Academy of Rock Music. Enjoy your favorite music from different genres and eras.
