Regency Mile (formerly Short Pump Mile)

Formerly the Short Pump Mile, the Regency Mile is the largest timed youth road race in Richmond, attracting over 1,300 runners in recent years.   The distance is one mile for any participant age 18-and-younger and is open to special-needs athletes as well.  There is also an express run for ages 5-and-under to introduce them to the sport of running.  All proceeds from the event will go to producing free fitness programs in local underserved neighborhoods and raising funds for area schools’ physical education departments.
