Event Website FAQs Schedule
Participants will be assigned and receive their bib on-site at Dorey Park. Be prepared to present your Driver’s License or ID at the tent. This can be done on the race day you select or any day between March 11 - 13 from 7am - 3pm.
On-site participants will receive their finisher items post race using the tear tag on your bib.
Packet mailing is included with your virtual registration. No need to come to Dorey Park to pick up anything.

Course will have a shared start & finish line in Dorey Park, mile markers, bottle refill stations every 2-4 miles, restrooms near every refill station.
The course is on the Virginia Capital Trail. The trail will not be closed, be aware of other trail users.
There are several trail crossings on course, which are not closed to vehicular traffic. Be prepared to stop at these crossings.
If you are unable to participate at the official course, you can participate virtually on the course of your own creation. Upload your results by March 31 to be added to the virtual leaderboard.
The Virginia Capital Trail Foundation (VCTF) is a nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) organization, with a mission to enhance, promote, and advocate for the continued development of the Virginia Capital Trail (VCT), a 52-mile dedicated multi-use trail connecting Richmond and Williamsburg along the beautiful and historic Route 5 corridor. Entry fees are non-refundable, even in the case of a race format changes, race cancellation, postponement, and/or if you are unable to participate. Race numbers and entries cannot be transferred to another person. No exceptions. This means once we have received your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate, and you may not give or sell your number or timing chip to anyone else. Anyone found participating with another person’s number will be disqualified and both people will be barred from future Sports Backers events.
