Description
This year's Dominion Energy Cap2Cap Event will be virtual! Should you choose to participate we will have temporary popup rest stops, drive-thru packet pickup options, fun picture opportunities, and more! We hope that you will join us!
For those who have already registered, please check your email for the Virtual Rider Guide with additional information. (*Please note participants will need to sign an updated waiver to participate in the Virtual Cap2Cap and sign up for updated packet pick-up locations.)

Learn more about the Virtual Cap2Cap Experience
Participants will be able to:
1. Choose from three packet-pick up locations for grabbing event swag (new virtual Cap2Cap t-shirt, water bottle, and bag) and purchased merchandise. (We also have a mail option for out-of-town participants.)
2. Receive a virtual bib.
3. Ride your chosen distance (i.e. 25, 50, or 100 miles) anywhere between August 17 and August 31.
4. Enjoy pop-up rest stops on certain days along the Capital Trail with snacks and bottled water, if you choose to utilize the Capital Trail.
5. Submit your completed results online.

How to update your RunSignUp Information
Here are your instructions on how to update/confirm your packet-pick up location and sign your updated waiver*:
1. Visit RunSignUp
2. Click “More” in the upper right-hand corner
3. Click “Edit Registration”
4. Scroll Down
5. Click “Questions”
6. NEW waiver AND update packet pickup location.
7. Scroll down and click “Update Responses”
(You can also change your t-shirt size, buy raffle tickets, or buy a 2020 jersey!)
Pop-up Rest Stops
On the following dates, we will have volunteers at the following locations with extra bottled waters and pre-packaged snacks for the first 200 people. Please do not rely on these rest stops for all of your needs when doing your ride. You are in charge of planning your water and food for your ride. Please note, you will have to wear or show your virtual bib as proof that you are participating in Cap2Cap. Masks will be required for participants when entering the rest stop tent.

Hardywood Brewery is open and following all CDC Guidelines. We will be practicing social distancing and everyone will be required to wear a mask.

Dorey Park will be a drive-thru style.
*Chickahominy Riverfront Park and Dorey Park will be drive-thru style. All virtual rider’s SWAG bags will include: Official Virtual Cap2Cap T-shirt, Backpack, Water Bottle, and you will be able to pick-up purchased items. We will be sending out maps on Ride Week to give further clarification on instructions for packet pick-up. All volunteers will have masks and have hand sanitizer readily available. We would like to ask that you do the same. If you live out of town, we will have a mailing option. These will be mailed out on September 1st.

4. Wear it with pride!

100% of the proceeds from the Cap2Cap Bike Ride will benefit the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation.
