Herndon Middle School 5K Run/Walk to benefit Mental Health Awareness Month

All proceeds benefit Herndon Middle School’s Anti-Bullying Campaign.

Early Bird Rate (before April 30th): $10 for Herndon Middle School students and $25 for adults
May 1st to May 13th: $15 for Herndon Middle School students and $30 for adults.
Race Day (May 14th): $15 for Herndon Middle School students, $35 for adults.

Participants will receive a T-Shirt. Please note that shirts are limited so there is no shirt guarantee for those who register after April 30th. Water and snacks will be provided after the race. T-Shirt and bib pickup will be from 4:00-7:00pm Friday May 13th at Herndon Middle School. Same day registration begins at 7:30 a.m. the day of race, May 14th.

Runners/Walkers will begin at HMS and travel along a local designated route beginning at 9:00 a.m. This route will include neighborhood streets with appropriate road blocks and directing of traffic per the Herndon Police and Department of Public Works.

Computerized timing operated by Race DC Timing (www.racedctiming.com) will be used to score the 5K. The System uses a computer tag embedded in the Bib (B-tag) and records the exact time a runner crosses the starting line and the finish line, resulting in a net time for each runner. The B-Tag is disposable. Overall awards will be based upon Gun Time and Age group awards will be based upon Net Times.
