City Point Races

Join us for our Annual City Point 5k, 10k or 1/4 mile mobility race!

The City Point 5k, 10k, 1/4 mile, Kids Fun Run and Kinder Dash are brought to you by the collaboration of John Randolph Foundation, Hopewell Recreation and Parks, City of Hopewell and Tri-Cities Road Runners. The City Point Races, Kids Fun Run and Kinder Dash attract participation from runners, joggers and walkers from all across Central Virginia! The 5k and 10k provide participants with a breathtaking view of the Appomattox River while exploring downtown Hopewell and historic City Point.

We encourage participants to pick up their packets on Friday, September 18th.

Register early to claim your t-shirt and avoid late fees. No 5k, 10k, or 1/4 miler t-shirts will be available after September 1st!

5K / Quarter Mile Fees:
Adults (18+) - $30 through Sept 1
                     - $40 Sept 2 - Sept 18

Kids (8-17) - Free 

No t-shirts will be available after September 1st!

10K Fees:
Adults (18+) - $45 through Sept 1
                     - $55 Sept 2 - Sept 18

Kids (12-17) - Free 

No t-shirts will be available after September 1st!

Kids Fun Run and Kinder-Dash – Free, registration required (t-shirt pickup day of race only)

Event Details:
Friday
3:00 - 6:30 pm - 5k/10k/Quarter Mile Packet Pickup (Kids Fun Run and Kinder-Dash pickup on day of race only)

Saturday
6:30 - 7:30 - Packet Pickup
8:00 - City Point 5k/10k/Quarter Mile
8:30-10:00 - there will not be an awards ceremony for the 5k or 10k, but you can check your results (or the results board onsite) and walk to the stage to retrieve your age group award. 
10:15 - Kinder Dash 
10:30 - Kids Fun Run
