King George Fall Festival 10k/5k/1 Mile Fun Run

The 2023 King George Fall Festival Race/Run/Walk will be held for the the 3rd year on the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail. The event now features a new 10k distance option in addition to the popular 5k and 1 mile run/walk! This event offers an unofficial timed out-and-back race from the Bloomsbury trailhead of the Dahlgren Trail. Bottled water and snacks will be provided along with fun items for all participants! This will continue to be a fun family event for all ages!

Schedule:

7:00 AM - Participant check in at the Bloomsbury Rd Trailhead

7:30 AM - 10k race start

8:00 AM - 5k and 1 mile race start

10:00 AM - Awards ceremony

Awards

All race finishers will be awarded with a limited edition tumbler cup! With secure lid and reusable straw, these are great for rehydrating on your travel after the race. To make immediate use of the awards, the race will offer a selection of beverages to fill your cup after the race! We'll have coolers of water, Gatorade, apple cider, and other delicious drinks from which to choose!

We've also created race t-shirts and hoodies which can be purchased separately from this race registration.

In addition, we will offer custom, homemade plaques for the following categories:

• 10K 1st place Male and Female finishers
• 5K 1st place Male and Female finishers
• 1 Mile 1st place Male and Female finishers
