Please join us for the inaugural Woods Creek 5K! Enjoy the crisp spring morning weather in support of Woods Creek Montessori, a preschool in Lexington serving children ages 1 through 6. WCM is a nonprofit organization, and your participation will help support the long-term health of our school. Thank you in advance for your support of the WCM community!
We are hosting a Kids Fun Run and a 5K (walk or run) on Saturday, April 14th, making this a fun event in which the whole family can participate! We are also offering the option of childcare during the race. While you're cooling off after the race, enjoy refreshments while listening to some live Bluegrass music.
Strollers are welcome, but please leave Fido at home.
Race Amenities:
- 5k participants will receive 2 Woods Creek cups
- Entertainment by The Woods Creek Ramblers (local Bluegrass musicians Matthew Crance, Dave Hunt, and Blake Shester)
- Post-race water, Gatorade, and snacks
- Participation ribbons in the Kids Fun Run
