Dragonfly Farms - A Farm to Table Run, 5k/10k with Dinner and Live Music

Come join us for a day of farm tours, delicious food and great music. We will have a 1/2 mile kids obstacle course race as well as 5K and 10K runs. Not running?  No problem!  We will also be offering hay rides, farm tours and everyone can enjoy a delicious locally sourced dinner. Stay for some great music from the Courtney Brothers and hang out as we light a bonfire and roast marshmallows.

The cross country style 5k and 10k runs will be chip timed and begin at our historic red barn and will take you through our regeneratively grazed pastures and woods.  You will run past our grass-fed and grass finished beef cattle herd, our flock of hair sheep, our movable chicken coops and around our horse barn.  You will enjoy a trail that takes you through native grasses, across stream crossings and along the fence line of our 300 acre farm.  The run includes a catered, locally sourced dinner, which will include smoked brisket from our cattle as well as some delicious pork barbecue from Harlow Ridge Farm.  The dinner will be catered by the Ashland Meat Company and is sure to be a highlight of the evening.  Local beer and cider will also be available for purchase with dinner.  

The kids 1/2 mile obstacle run will keep the kiddos entertained while we wait for everyone to finish on course and get ready for dinner.  Kids 3 and under can eat for free, no need to register them.

The amazing Courtney Brothers will provide live music while we eat and light a bonfire.  Feel free to bring s'mores ingredients for dessert!  Bring your blanket or chairs and enjoy some music while you eat and relax as the sun sets and the stars come out.  Camping is available to anyone who would like to stay the night. (we have an outdoor shower for anyone wanting to clean up after the race)

Please sign up for either race, or just dinner and music, and then the farm tour, camping and the kids run will be available as an add-on. Please bring a refillable water bottle and a blanket for a picnic dinner.  This is a rain or shine event.
