Bishop Virtual 5K Race Against Hunger

Your participation in the Bishop Virtual 5K Race Against Hunger support the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank. During this unprecedented time in the modern world, people all across the country are struggling to make ends meet and put food on the table. Food banks do an amazing job at supporting their communities and feeding the less fortunate. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, food banks are struggling more than ever!

You are invited to participate in a virtual 5K. Participants choose a 5K (3.1 mile course) to run or walk anytime between May 17th and May 23rd. Participation and/or your result will be uploaded to our results page.  Those registered by May 10th are guaranteed an event t-shirt.

REGISTRATION:  
Registration is available online only. There is no paper registration for this event. There is not a LRRC discount for the event.

PLEASE NOTE:  ENTRY FEES ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE & NON-REFUNDABLE.

Course: 
Participants choose an appropriate 5K course (3.1 miles). The location of a course can be anywhere in the world.

Results:
Participants may report their times via RunSignUp during the participation period between May 17th and May 23rd.
Instructions for how to do this will be sent to those registered a week before and will also be found on the event's RunSignUp page.

AWARDS:  
There are no age group or overall awards for this virtual event. 

HOW DO I GET MY T-SHIRT?
* T-shirts are guaranteed to those registered on or before May 10th. Extras available on a first-register come basis after the deadline.
* Please make sure that the shipping address you provide during registration is correct.
* T-shirts will be available for pickup at Riverside Runners beginning Saturday May 23rd, 12-4pm. Those living outside the Lynchburg area will have their shirt mailed to them.
