CARE² 5K Run & Walk

The Adult Care Center of Central Virginia, a non-profit United Way partner agency, is pleased to organize the Care Squared 5K, presented by The Standard. This local non-profit provides supervised daycare services to health-impaired adults and provides their caregivers respite and support, designed to improve the quality of life for our clients and their family caregivers. 

REGISTRATION:  
$25 (Thru  - Oct. 10, 2019) || Packet Pickup (Oct. 11, 2019) and Race Day (Oct. 12, 2019) $30

Lynchburg Road Runners Club Member Discount:
A $5.00 discount is available to current Lynchburg Road Runners Club members. Discounts will not be given after Monday, October 1st. Participant membership must be current with LRRC membership roster found on RunSignUp on race day. Discount will be given at checkout automatically. Refunds and discounts will not be given after completing online race registration.

Assisted Participants:
We are pleased to provide an opportunity for assisted participants to enjoy race day. An assisted participant is typically being pushed in a stroller "appropriate" for the event (ie.. hand break, tether, appropriate wheels). Both the participant being pushed and the pusher are required to register for this event. Assisted participants will start prior to the 5K start and be ranked separately from the 5K event. 

PAPER REGISTRATION IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS EVENT

Registration fees are non-transferable & non-refundable. An entry can only be used for the person registered for the entry. Entries cannot be deferred to the following year or a future event.

T-Shirts:
A complimentary, unisex, technical, wicking, t-shirt is guaranteed to those registered no later than Monday, October 1. Extra shirts will be available on an first-come basis at packet pickup and race day while supplies last.

Packet Pickup:
Friday (10/11) 12:00pm-6:00pm at Riverside Runners (2480 Rivermont Ave., Lynchburg, VA  24503 – 434-846-7449) & Sat (10/12) 7:30am - 8:00am at University of Lynchburg Track (1501 Lakeside Drive, Lynchburg, VA  24501). Yes, someone else can pick up your packet for you.

AWARDS:  
Top 3 Overall M/F, Top 3 in each age group 12& Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & older

COURSE:  
Start / Finish on the track at University of Lynchburg. 5K course is on paved surface and sidewalk on and around the University campus. One-mile walk is on the track.
