GO GREEN and celebrate 30 years of Help, Healing, and Hope at Park View’s St. Paddy’s Day 5K, presented by Sandrof Auto Body!
Join the festive fun as runners and walkers of all ages and abilities take over downtown Lynchburg for a spirited St. Patrick’s Day run with purpose. Dress in your best St. Paddy's green and soak up the high-energy atmosphere while celebrating 30 years of Park View serving our community.
After crossing the finish line, keep the St. Paddy’s Day celebration going by visiting your favorite local restaurants. Stop by The Water Dog to enjoy live music, delicious food, and adult beverages as we toast to 30 years of impact together.
About Park View Community Mission’s Food for Thought Program
Food for Thought supports food-insecure students by providing nourishing food to take home over weekends and school breaks when access to food is often limited. When you participate in this race, you directly help put food into the hands of children who need it most. All proceeds from this race benefit the Food for Thought program.
5K Run & Walk

DPO Grille courtyard, 10 9th St., Lynchburg, VA 24504
Timing: Professionally timed by Riverside Runners. Open to ages 8 and up.
St Paddy's Day 5K Swag
St. Paddy's Day 5K t-shirt
All participants in the 5k race will receive a custom-designed, unisex, short-sleeve, t-shirt (register by February 16th to guarantee your shirt) and a swag bag at packet pickup. Extra shirts will be ordered and available on a first-come basis at packet pickup and race day for those that register after the guaranteed deadline.
Finisher medal for all who complete the race

Save $5 per registration when signing up 4 or more participants (applied at checkout; not retroactive).
Family Pricing discount ends Feb. 28th.
Lynchburg Road Runners Club Member Discount:
A $5.00 discount is available to current Lynchburg Road Runners Club members. Discounts will not be given after February 28, 2026. Participant membership must be current with LRRC membership roster found on RunSignUp. Discount will be given at checkout automatically. Refunds and/or discounts will not be given after completing online race registration. Discount does not apply to special 12 & under pricing. The LRRC discount period is January 2, 2026 – February 28th. Please note: A LRRC discount is valid only for participants whose membership is current on race day (3/14/2026). REFUND POLICY:
Registration fees and purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. Entries cannot be transferred to another participant or deferred to another event, or the same event but another year. If the "in-person" event is canceled for any reason, those participants will automatically be moved to the "virtual event".
Packet Pickup:
Friday, March 13th, 12:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Riverside Runners (2480 Rivermont Avenue, Lynchburg, VA 24503)
Race Day, March 14th, 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. at Riverfront Park (Start/Finish, DPO Grille courtyard, 10 9th Street, Lynchburg, VA 24504)
Parking
Downtown Lynchburg, available along Jefferson Street, nearby city lots, and parking garages at 9th and Commerce Streets.
AWARDS
Awards will be given to the top 3 overall male and female finishers, top Master Male & Female, as well as the top three in each age/gender category for the 5k run. (8-12, 13-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over).
All Finishers will receive a unique finisher medal to remember their accomplishment.
RACE POLICIES
Strollers: Walking participants with strollers may join, starting immediately after the main race. Please stay single-file for safety.
Headphones: For safety, headphones are not permitted.
Pets: For safety reasons, pets are not allowed on the course.
