After competing collegiately at the Virginia Military Institute, Danny coached at E.C. Glass High School for 7 years. His experience ranges from coaching adults and supervising large training programs to the beginner runner. Danny is married to a runner and the father of 4 daughters.

Coach Boyers training philosophy has been developed through thousands of miles of running and racing and can be summed up by two running legends; Fred Lebow founder of the New York City Marathon and Juma Ikangaa former Olympian and World Class Marathoner from Tanzania.

"In running, it doesn't matter whether you come in first, in the middle of the pack, or last. You can say, 'I have finished.' There is a lot of satisfaction in that." Fred Lebow
