The historic Genworth Virginia 10 Miler will celebrate its 42nd year on September 25-26, 2015. Join more than 4,000 runners on a historic course that has hosted participants from around the globe. The 10 mile run,, 4 mile run/walk, and Amazing Mile Children's Run invite men, women, and children of all ages and abilities to participate. The festivities begin Friday night with packet pick-up, the Amazing Mile Children’s Run, and a fun family-friendly festival. On Saturday, thousands will take part in the 10 mile run, 4 mile run, and 4 mile walk.

**Amazing Mile Children's Runs: $15 (Online registration) $20 during packet pickup if entry limits are not met.
**Children can register for one of three Amazing Children's Runs to be held Friday evening September 26th. Entry for the Amazing Mile Childrens 1/4 mile (Ages 0-5) and 1/2 mile (Ages 6-9) and The Amazing Mile Childrens Run (Ages 13 & under). Race caps for these events are 1/4 mile (150), 1/2 mile (200), 1 mile (400). Registration will close when these events reach capacity.

Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. Entry fees cannot be applied to future races or events and/or transferred to another person.
Runners proceed north on Langhorne Road, downhill for 1.5 miles. After a short distance on Rivermont Terrace, runners turn east onto historic Rivermont Avenue. The 4 Miler participants finish at Randolph College, ¾ of a mile from Rivermont Terrace. Ten Miler participants continue down Rivermont Avenue and follow the course clockwise through Riverside Park overlooking the James River. Runners return same route finising up the infamous, 1.5 mile “Farm Basket” hill.

Event t-shirts are guaranteed to those that register before September 2nd. Registrations received on September 2nd thru September 20th will have shirts available on a first-come basis at packet pickup.
POST RACE CELEBRATION
After crossing the finish line, all race participants will gather at EC Glass H.S. for plenty of complimentary food and beverage, music, and massages. Bring your family to enjoy the variety of post race activities and awards ceremony.
LIVE MUSIC ON THE COURSE
Live bands and music will be located throughout the courses for both races. Runners will be treated to more than 5 live bands and DJ's. Neighborhood parties are also being organized on the course.
RRCA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
The Genworth Virginia 10 Miler has been selected as the 2015 Road Runners Club of America 10 Mile Virginia State Championship. Participants do not have to be members of the Road Runners Club of America to be eligible for championship awards.
CORPORATE TEAM COMPETITION
Corporte Team Competition will take place in BOTH the 10 and 4 mile run events. There will be 3 team categories; Mixed, Male, and Female. Awards will be given to the top scoring team in each catagory. There is no need to designate a corporate team catagory with your entry. The best 5 corporate finishers, for each team category, will be designated as that corporation's team. Team entries will be accepted until Sunday September 20, 2015. Corporate entries will only be accepted online or submitted to the Race Director with prior arrangement.
ALL COMPETITORS FOR A CORPORATE TEAM MUST BE EMPLOYED BY THE COMPANY THEY ARE DECLARING. FAMILY MEMBERS AND FRIENDS OF A COMPANY WILL NOT QUALIFY.
OPEN TEAM COMPETITION
Open team competition will take place in BOTH the ten and four mile runs. An award will be given to the Open Team Champion and Runner-up Open Team. An open team will consist of no more than 5 members with the top 3 finishers scoring and the other members displacing. Team entries will be accepted until Sunday September 20, 2015. Open team entries will only be accepted online.
