Description
Celebrate Halloween with a run through the vineyards at the 4th annual Uncorked Trail 5K at Early Mountain Vineyards! Located in beautiful Madison, Virginia, and part of the Monticello Wine Trail, this event will treat you to a good time with fellow "Will Run For Wine" enthusiasts! Walker, goblin and ghost-friendly.
All participants get great mountain views, a gender-specific tech shirt, a commemorative wine glass with wine samplings from Early Mountain Vineyards' fantastic vintages, live music on the patio, a post-race awards ceremony and food for purchase from a local food truck.
If inclement weather (e.g. thunder/snow storm), race day will be Sunday, October 28. Please make sure you can make both dates, as there are no refunds.

Course
The 3.1 mile trail will give you a wonderful foot tour of Early Mountain Vineyards! The grass course is a challenging mix of flat and rolling hills, and is walker-friendly. Check out our interactive Course Map. Walker, Fido and goblin-friendly; all-terrain strollers welcome.
Event Shirt
Everyone gets a tech tee that registers by October 11! After that, shirts are not guaranteed. We offer a ladies cut shirt (form fitting but true-to-size) and a unisex cut shirt (for guys or ladies that like a looser fit). Note: Shirt color is for example only.
Awards
Overall Male & Female - A bottle of wine and SWAG from Early Mountain Vineyards; sponsor gifts, if applicable.
Division Winners (8-11, 12-15, 16-20) - 1st place winners will receive a bottle of sparkling grape juice.
Division Winners (21-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over) - 1st place winners get a bottle wine from Early Mountain Vineyards.
Winners must be present at the Awards ceremony to receive their award.
Post-Race Party
After the race, pick up your event glass and partake in a limited tasting from Early Mountain Vineyards' fantastic wines. Choose your favorite and grab a glass (or bottle) to enjoy with the great food EMV has to offer. There will be live music from 9-12 pm and an awards ceremony at 10:30 am.
