Laurel Meadow Rock N' Roll 5k and LMES Color Splash 1 Mile Dash

This is a community event integrated with Laurel Meadow Elementary School's physical education curriculum that encourages kids, teachers, and adults to stay active and celebrate their achievements. We strive to combine fitness, community, fun, and music into a family friendly event. Our 5k race and Color Splash 1 Mile Dash will be held in conjunction with a concert by a popular local band, The Sons of Zebedee!  The LMES Rock N’ Roll 5k and Color Splash 1 Mile Dash are open to individuals of all ages!  Event features include: timed race, 5K Race t-shirt, swag bags, a hydration station along the route, police and EMS, Color Splash 1 Mile Dash, 5K Run/Walk, awesome prizes, and lots of fun!  Strollers are welcome, but no pets allowed!  Race proceeds will be split between the purchase/installation of water bottle filling stations, classroom furniture to foster flexible seating options, and instructional supplies to enhance the educational opportunities for our students.  If running is not on your to-do list, please visit our donation tab to see how you can help support LMES.  For families with 5 or more members, please email laurelmeadow5k@gmail.com for more information for how to register.  Check out more information at our website, https://lmes5k.weebly.com!
