Event Update: October 4 Superhero 5K Moves to Virtual
Due to the anticipated weather conditions, Chesterfield CASA has canceled the in-person Superhero 5K, Kids’ 1K Fun Run, and Family Festival scheduled for Sunday, October 4, 2026, at Westchester Commons. The 5K will instead take place virtually.
Please do not come to Westchester Commons for the event or race-morning packet pickup.
After reviewing the forecast and gathering feedback from vendors and athletes, we determined that this change is the most responsible way to protect our participants, volunteers, vendors, staff, and community.
We know many of you have trained, made plans, and looked forward to celebrating together. We share your disappointment and appreciate your understanding and flexibility.
What happens next?
Race packets: We will mail packets to registered participants who have not already picked theirs up.
Virtual 5K: We will email participants and update this page with the dates for completing your run or walk and instructions for submitting results through RunSignup. Please wait for those details and participate only when conditions are safe.

How to Submit Virtual Results
How to Participate Virtually:
Choose a day and time that works for you and complete the race anytime before Sunday October 11.
Registered for the Superhero 5k? Complete 3.1 miles by running, walking, hiking, using a treadmill, or getting creative!
Registered for the Fun Run? Complete a 800m dash, that's about a half mile.
Once you've complete your race, be sure to submit follow the directions below to submit your results by Sunday October 11!
How to Submit Virtual Results:
- Navigate to the race's RunSignup race page and select the Result tab.
- Select Submit Virtual Results.
- Search for your registration either by first and last name or by email address and DOB.
- Once you find your registration, select Submit Virtual Results.
- Enter your finish time and select Submit Results.
IMPORTANT: If you have your Profile set as anonymous (which you can check, as explained here), then you will not be able to find yourself in this search. You can use the instructions in the following section for "Submit Virtual Results From Your RunSignup Profile" in order to submit results while remaining anonymous.
Your Race Packet is Coming!
If you have not already received your race packet, don't worry. We will mail your race packet directly to you. Your package will include your race T-shirt or superhero cape. Please keep an eye out for your packet in the mail.
