Description
17th Annual Turkey Waddle 5k walk run held at Salisbury Presbyterian Church with the proceeds benefiting FeedMore and local hunger relief. This is a very family friendly event and very 'low key' as well with a simple race clock along with a few refreshments at the finish line. We can't believe it's been 17 years since we started this event and it's grown so much over the years thanks to all of you who have offered support through either food donations or via your registration fees. What a great excuse to get up on Thanksgiving morning to get moving and burn a few calories while providing 'calories' to those who are less fortunate. We're hopeful you will be gathering this year with family and friends on this special day to give thanks and enjoy your family time. We look forward to seeing everyone in a couple months!

Course Map
This is a stroller (and dog) friendly course, however there are about 29 steps after you cross the earth dam on the lake. You will need a helpful hand to carry your stroller up so please be aware of that. IF you are doing the 1.6 mile route, you will keep straight on Kings Mill Road and follow to Salisbury Road (turn right on to the field - not the road) to finish.
Helpful Hint: How to Save on Registration Fees
Make sure to sign up as many (i.e. family and friends you're willing to pay for) under 1 'cart'. At checkout your total registration fee will go down as the total registration dollars go up. Example: if you register as 1 adult you pay $10 + $2 fee for a total of $12. IF you sign up you and your two adult siblings (3 adults x $10 per), you pay $30 for registration and $2.50 for the fee. See the URL that shows you the fee structure. Just a helpful hint from your TW5k RD....
