2020 George Washington Patriot Run

The safety and health of our staff, participants, volunteers and supporters is our top priority. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 5th annual George Washington Patriot Run will be a virtual event.

Virtual Race Information

Virtual participants will run their distance (5K or 10 Miler) between September 1 and 12. While we will not record times, we encourage you to share your run via social media (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter) with #GWPatriotRun.

 
Patriot Run Festival

We invite participants and their family to come to the estate on September 12th for a socially distanced Patriot Run Festival from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. Collect your t-shirt and medal, enjoy live music and food, and participate in a live yoga class!

Participants who can’t make it to the festival will have the option to pick up their t-shirts and medals the following week at the estate or have them shipped to your home address.

 
Next Steps

All current registrations will be converted to virtual registrations on August 6, 2020 and be refunded any registration fees paid in excess of $35. An email on the festival and swag mailing option will follow.

If you do not want to participate in the virtual event, you may defer your registration to our 2021 event. The deadline to defer is August 5, 2020.

To defer your registration to 2021:

Login to RunSignup and find the 2020 George Washington Patriot Run under "Upcoming Races"
Select "Manage Registration"
Choose "Defer Registration" and "Confirm Deferral"
You will receive a follow-up email when we open registration for 2021 on how to register at no cost.
