Pearisburg Eye Associates Eye 5

The Pearisburg Eye Associates Eye 5 is a 5k run/walk open to all runners, walkers or anyone in between.  The course starts and ends on Tazewell street in pearisburg, it is a large circle through the town of pearisburg with some small hills, perfect for someone doing their first 5k or if your going for that PR.   Awards will be given for top male and female runners including a pair of Nike Running sunglasses.  There will also be age group awards and raffle items all race participants will be eligible to receive.   Postrace food and drinks will also be provided at the conclusion of the race.

 There will be a kids run for children who would like to dress up in their halloween costumes and race against other children.  This race will be about a quarter mile and  participation medals will be awarded for all children at the finish line.

100% of profit from this race will go to benefit the residents of  Giles County and the Pearisburg Junior Womens Club.  The Junior women's club helps Giles County residents in need through various gifts and donations.  You can learn more about them through their website at http://pearisburgjuniorwomansclub.org/
