Description
Join our inaugural race!
This race is organized by Trials of Color and sponsored by Seagen, Daiichi Sankyo, Aetna, Sheetz, Wawa, Crimson Clinic, Vanessa Crawford Petersburg Sheriff's Office and Saving Pennies 4 A Cure. It will be hosted at Petersburg High School. It is a charity race to bring cancer awareness and clinical trial information to underserved communities. Trials of Color's mission is to end the disparities in cancer communities through Education, Advocacy, and Booths on the ground.
Proceeds from the 5k Cancer Awareness Run and Walk support cancer awareness, early detection screening, and health education programs in medically underserved communities. A portion of the funds also go to the Petersburg Athletic Department.

There will be total prizes of $2,500 plus in gift certificates, gym membership, gift cards & merchandise that will be distributed by category and place among the winners!
The first 100 people to register will get a t-shirt!
Make sure to register early to be guaranteed an inaugural t-shirt! The registration cutoff for the t-shirt is Feb 17, 2024.
5k Course
Start on Petersburg Football track, Come out to Johnson Road through the parking lot.
Turn left on Johnson Road.
Go to Flank Road, turn left.
Go to Birdsong Road, turn left.
Turn Right into Petersburg Sports Complex Ballpark Road
Go through Complex and take a right onto path to enter Practice field at Petersburg High School.
Finish at the Back of Petersburg parking lot by the Football field.
