Poplar Springs 5k

Place: The 5K race will begin and end at Appomattox Riverside Park in Petersburg (24909 Ferndale Road). Following, there will be awards, music, and more.

Time: The 5k race will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 8:00 am.

Awards: Awards will be given to the top 3 male & top 3 female overall finishers, first place male & female Masters, and top 3 finishers in each age group.

Age Groups: Groups will be divided as follows: 12 & under, 13-19 years, 20-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years, and 60 years & over.

Course: This will be an out and back course in Appomattox Riverside Park

Registration: Registration will begin on February 1, 2019. The price will grant the runner permission to participate in the race and includes water, t-shirt, medal, and post-race activities. The cost will be $20. Registration on race day will be $25.

Packet pick-up: Race packets can be picked up starting May 17th from 4pm-6pm at Poplar Springs Hospital, located at 350 Poplar Drive, Petersburg or on May 18th beginning at 6:30am at Scott Park.

*Participants must register by April 14th in order to guarantee a t-shirt. The price will remain the same for registration, but the participant will not receive a t-shirt. T-shirts will be available for sale after the race for $10.
