The Portsmouth Museums Foundation is pleased to announce that our annual Bunny Hop 5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Run will be held on Saturday April 1, 2023 and will benefit the Children’s Museum of Virginia! Enjoy a flat, fast, picturesque course along the Portsmouth waterfront.
After the 5K, join us for in the Atlantic Union Bank Pavilion for fun family activities and the awards ceremony. Of course, we'll also have food, water and beer available.
Date: Saturday, April 1, 2023
Time: 1 mile begins at 8:00am
5k begins at 8:30am
Early Packet Pick-up will be available, and we will announce the date(s) and location(s) closer to the event date.
Register before Thursday, March 9 to guarantee a shirt in your size! We need to get our shirt order in on March 10th, and the t-shirts for all race participants that register after that date will be filled on a best-effort basis. Thank you for understanding!

7:00 a.m. - Registration and Packet Pick-up Opens @ Atlantic Union Bank Pavilion, 16 Crawford Circle in Portsmouth (formerly Portsmouth Pavilion)
7:40 a.m. - Registration and Packet Pick-up for 1 Mile Family Fun Run Closes
8:00 a.m. - 1 Mile Family Fun Run Begins
8:10 a.m. - Registration and Packet Pick-up for 5k Closes
8:30 a.m. - 5k Race Begins
Parking on race day is free in the County Street garage (200 County Street, behind the Children's Museum of Virginia).
